In Loving Memory of Kinyatta Ringo-Wimbly

With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of 40-year-old Kinyatta Ringo-Wimbly, whose life was tragically taken on March 1, 2026. Her passing has left an indescribable void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the entire Pine Bluff community.

Just after 12:00 p.m., officers with the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to a 911 hang-up call at 6515 Cimarron. Concerned family members, unable to reach her, forced entry into the residence to check on her well-being. Inside, they found Kinyatta unresponsive, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. No one else was located inside the home.

The shock of such a discovery is something no family should ever have to endure. What began as a moment of worry quickly turned into a heartbreaking reality that no one was prepared for. The pain of losing a loved one in such a sudden and violent manner is immeasurable, and our hearts ache for those closest to her.

While authorities have stated that the investigation remains in its early stages and no suspect information has been released, the focus today is on remembering the life Kinyatta lived — not solely the circumstances of her passing. She was more than a headline. She was more than a case number. She was a daughter, a relative, a friend, and a woman whose life mattered deeply to those who knew and loved her.

Those who shared moments with Kinyatta will remember her presence — her voice, her laughter, her spirit. The everyday interactions that once seemed ordinary now hold extraordinary meaning. Her absence leaves silence where there once was warmth and familiarity.

As the investigation continues, her body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the official cause and manner of death. Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information to come forward by contacting the detective office tip line at 870-730-2106, the detective office at 870-730-2090, or the dispatch center at 870-541-5300. Community cooperation is vital in the pursuit of truth and justice.

In times like these, grief extends beyond one household. It touches neighborhoods, friends, coworkers, and all who shared in her journey. The Pine Bluff community now stands united in sorrow, but also in support — offering prayers, comfort, and strength to a family facing unimaginable heartbreak.

Kinyatta’s life, though cut short, will not be forgotten. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, in the stories shared about her, and in the quiet reflections of moments once spent together. We honor her by remembering her humanity, her value, and the love she gave during her 40 years of life.

May her family find comfort in the embrace of community.

May justice be pursued with diligence and integrity.

And may Kinyatta Ringo-Wimbly rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and forever loved.
