In Loving Memory of Liam Madison
The Queen Anne’s County community is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Liam Madison, an exceptional young man whose light shone brightly both on and off the field.
Liam, an 18U player for the Easton Ice Hawks, was more than just a talented athlete — he was a teammate, a leader, and a friend to so many. As a proud member of the Queen Anne’s Football team, he carried himself with a spirit that was impossible to ignore. His infectious smile could brighten any room, and his positive energy lifted those around him even on the toughest days.
On the ice, Liam demonstrated passion, discipline, and heart. As part of the Queen Anne’s Hockey Association, he gave his all every time he stepped onto the rink. His dedication to his team and his love for the game were evident in every stride. Liam’s character shone just as brightly as his athletic ability. He was recognized for his outstanding sportsmanship, earning the respected Grady Bridges Sportsmanship Award with the Ice Hawks hockey team — a true reflection of the respect, fairness, and integrity he displayed in competition and in life.
Beyond his accomplishments in sports, Liam was known for his selfless nature. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, always ready to encourage a teammate, and always respectful to those around him. Whether it was football practice, a hockey game, or simply spending time with friends and family, Liam approached life with kindness and heart.
His sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in Queen Anne’s County. Teammates have lost a brother. Coaches have lost a remarkable young leader. Friends have lost someone who made them laugh and feel seen. And his family has lost a beloved son and brother whose love was unwavering.
As we say goodbye, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his mother, Renée, his father, Mark, his brother Sean, and all of his extended family and friends. May they find comfort in the overwhelming love and support surrounding them during this unimaginable time.
Though Liam’s time here was far too short, his legacy will endure. It lives on in the lessons he taught through his sportsmanship, in the friendships he built, in the respect he showed others, and in the countless memories shared on the field and the ice.
