In Loving Memory of Tango (TG)

In Loving Memory of Tango (TG) 🏍️🙏🏾

With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Tango, affectionately known as TG, a 29-year-old man from New Castle, Delaware, whose life was tragically cut short on Friday afternoon in Wilmington. Though his time on earth was brief, the impact he made on those around him will forever remain.

According to the Delaware State Police, the fatal crash occurred on February 27, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tango was riding his Harley-Davidson northbound on DuPont Highway (US 13), approaching the intersection with Millside Drive. At the same time, a Lexus UX was stopped behind a Mitsubishi Mirage in the left-turn lane.

For reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle collided with the rear of the Lexus. The force of the impact ejected Tango from his Harley-Davidson, and the Lexus was pushed forward into the Mitsubishi. Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported him to a nearby hospital. Despite every life-saving effort, he sadly succumbed to his injuries.

The roadway was closed for approximately three hours while the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit conducted a thorough preliminary investigation. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work diligently to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crash. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant information to contact Master Corporal R. Kunicki at (302) 365-8417.

Today, however, our focus is not only on the tragic details of that afternoon — but on the life of Tango (TG).

Tango was more than a motorcyclist; he was a son, a brother, a friend, and a beloved member of his community. Known for his vibrant spirit, unwavering loyalty, and infectious energy, TG brought light into every room he entered. To those who rode alongside him, he was family. To those who loved him, he was irreplaceable.

There is something symbolic about a rider — someone who embraces freedom, adventure, and the open road. TG lived with that same fearless heart. He chased his passions, cherished his friendships, and carried himself with strength and authenticity. His love for riding was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his spirit — bold, determined, and free.

The loss of someone so young is a heartbreak that words can hardly contain. His family now faces an unimaginable void, and the community mourns alongside them. We extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones during this time of profound grief. May they find comfort in the memories they shared, in the laughter that still echoes, and in the love that will never fade.

Though his journey on this earth has ended, Tango’s legacy rides on — in the hearts of those who knew him, in every mile shared with friends, and in every memory created along the way.

From the Delaware State Police and the entire community, we send our heartfelt condolences to Tango’s family and friends. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory forever be a blessing. 🏍️🙏🏾

Ride free, TG. Your road continues beyond the horizon.
