In Loving Memory of Donald Joseph Selters & Gregory Keith Glenn
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The state of Nevada is mourning the heartbreaking loss of two men whose lives were tragically taken in a devastating and fiery crash near Beatty along U.S. 95 in the early morning hours of February 26, 2026.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 2:00 a.m. just north of mile marker 73 in Nye County. Authorities reported that a flatbed tow truck traveling northbound crossed into the southbound lane, where it collided with an oncoming semi tractor-trailer. Despite attempts by the semi driver to brake and swerve in an effort to avoid impact, the crash could not be prevented.
The force of the collision caused both vehicles to erupt into flames, creating a catastrophic scene along the highway. Tragically, both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the tow truck was identified as Donald Joseph Selters, 40, of Tonopah, Nevada. The driver of the semi tractor-trailer was Gregory Keith Glenn, 67, of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The investigation remains ongoing and is being led by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol – Major Incident Reconstruction Team.
Today, we pause not only to acknowledge the tragic circumstances of this crash but to honor the lives of two men who were far more than the details of a highway report.

He was a son, a friend, and a member of the Tonopah community. His loss leaves an emptiness that cannot be measured, especially for those who shared in his daily life — the conversations, the laughter, the ordinary moments that now feel so extraordinary in their absence.
