JOHNSON COUNTY, KY — The Johnson County community is mourning the tragic loss of Retina Meek and Anita Meek, who both passed away following a devastating two-vehicle crash on Thursday, March 12, 2026, in the Hagerhill community along Kentucky Route 321.
According to the Kentucky State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 1:31 p.m. Preliminary investigations revealed that Retina Meek was driving a 2001 Buick when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2018 Chevrolet pickup truck. Both Retina and a passenger, Anita Meek, were transported to local medical facilities following the collision but tragically succumbed to their injuries.
