According to authorities, the fatal crash occurred around 1:40 p.m. along Highway 67. Officials from the Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that Benjamin, 32, of Laurel, was traveling north on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle when it collided with a Honda Civic traveling west from Success Road. Tragically, Benjamin lost his life as a result of the crash. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident.
