Both drivers—two adult women—were rushed to a nearby hospital after the collision. Tragically, Mikaela did not survive her injuries. The other driver remains in stable condition with minor injuries. Emergency crews from the Fort Wayne Fire Department worked quickly at the scene and had to extricate one of the drivers who had become pinned inside a vehicle as a result of the crash.
