Nashville Tragedy: Confrontation Between Two Women Turns Deadly

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 25, 2025) — A heartbreaking and tragic series of events unfolded Monday evening after a confrontation between two women ended in the death of 42-year-old Keona Wilson.

According to Metro Nashville Police, Wilson went to a home on Scalf Drive after spotting her husband’s car parked outside the residence. Detectives say Wilson moved the vehicle to the front of the house before knocking on the door, demanding answers.

Inside was 42-year-old Keosha Geer, who confronted Wilson through the home’s security camera speaker. The women exchanged heated words, arguing over whether Wilson’s husband was inside the residence.

Police reports state the situation escalated quickly. Wilson allegedly attempted to force her way inside. Investigators say at that moment, Geer fired a shot through the door, narrowly missing Wilson.

Despite the warning, Wilson managed to push her way into the home, leading to a physical altercation. During the struggle, police say a second shot was fired — this time striking Wilson in the stomach.

Incredibly, though gravely wounded, Wilson was able to get into her husband’s car and drive away. She managed to flag down an officer outside the Madison Police Precinct, where she collapsed. Officers immediately called for medical aid, and she was rushed to Skyline Medical Center, but sadly, doctors were unable to save her.

Authorities confirmed Wilson passed away shortly after her arrival at the hospital.

Police have not announced any arrests at this time. As of Tuesday morning, no charges have been filed against Geer, though detectives say the investigation is ongoing. The District Attorney’s office will ultimately determine whether criminal charges will follow.

The shocking incident has left the Madison community shaken, with neighbors describing both disbelief and sadness over the events that unfolded.

Friends and family of Keona Wilson are now grieving the sudden and violent loss of a woman described as deeply loyal, protective, and loving.

This remains a developing story.
