Milwaukee — Tragic Shooting Claims the Life of 16-Year-Old Boy Near 12th & Concordia

Milwaukee police are investigating after a 16-year-old boy was shot and killed Saturday night on the city’s north side. Authorities say the shooting happened around 9:14 p.m. near the intersection of North 12th Street and West Concordia Avenue. When officers arrived, they found the teen suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving measures, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s name has not yet been released by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office, pending notification of his family. The incident has sparked heartbreak throughout the neighborhood, with residents expressing shock and grief at the loss of someone so young.

At this time, police have not shared details about what led up to the shooting, nor have they released any information about possible suspects. The case remains under active investigation, and detectives are working to gather evidence and speak with potential witnesses.
