KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Authorities have charged Bailey Lewis, of Lenexa, Kansas, in connection with the deadly shooting of 16-year-old Traelynn Sibley earlier this month. Lewis faces multiple charges, including second-degree felony murder, three counts of accessory armed criminal action, and two counts of accessory unlawful use of a weapon.
According to court records, Kansas City police were dispatched to a shooting on Norton Avenue on August 9. Officers discovered Traelynn Sibley inside a bathroom, suffering from a gunshot wound to the throat. Despite being rushed to a hospital for treatment, the teenager succumbed to her injuries.
