In Loving Support of Matthew Tyler Packer

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news that our brother, Matthew Tyler Packer, will be removed from life support on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Tyler’s life is one marked by service, dedication, and love. A proud United States Navy veteran, he served his country with honor and continued to support his fellow servicemen and women as an active member of the VFW. Beyond his service, Tyler was a 2006 graduate of Radnor High School and went on to earn his degree from Temple University.

Those who knew Tyler will remember him as a devoted father, loving husband, cherished son, and loyal friend. His strength, compassion, and unwavering commitment to others left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

For those who wish to say a final goodbye and pay their respects, there will be an opportunity to visit tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, Room 4019.

As we prepare to say farewell, we ask that you keep Tyler’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this profoundly difficult time. And in his honor, please take a moment to check in on your fellow veterans—a simple act that can make a world of difference.

Tyler’s legacy of service and love will never be forgotten.
