On Friday night, Robert’s journey came to an unexpected and heartbreaking end when his semi-truck left the roadway and overturned into a creek.

Robert was more than just a name in a report—he was a beloved father, friend, and community member. Known for his hard work, dedication, and kind spirit, Robert spent decades as a professional truck driver, ensuring goods were delivered across Alabama and beyond. To those who knew him, he was a man who loved the open road, but also cherished coming home to family and friends in Troy.
