Plains Township, PA — The Luzerne County community is mourning the loss of Holli Wachilla, 32, who tragically lost her life in a three-vehicle crash on State Route 315 on Monday afternoon. Coroner Dion Fernandes confirmed that Wachilla died shortly after arriving at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
According to authorities, Wachilla was operating a Jeep when the crash occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 315 and Ridgewood Road. The accident involved a tractor-trailer and a third vehicle. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, Wachilla succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
