NASHVILLE, Tenn. – August 2025 – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Nashville involving a 42-year-old woman, Keiona Wilson, who was shot inside a residence on Scalf Drive.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Wilson reportedly went to the home in search of her husband, who was allegedly involved with another woman. Upon arriving, she discovered her husband’s car parked behind the property and used her key to move it in front of the house. She then knocked on the front door to speak with the residents.
A conversation quickly ensued through the home’s surveillance system speaker, reportedly escalating into an argument regarding her husband’s presence in the house. At one point, when Wilson attempted to enter, a shot was fired through the storm door by the woman inside, but the bullet did not strike anyone.
Wilson later managed to enter the home, which led to a physical altercation. During the struggle, a second shot was fired, striking Wilson in the abdomen. Following the shooting, Wilson left the residence and drove a short distance in her husband’s car before flagging down an officer near the Madison Precinct.
She was transported to Skyline Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
As of now, no charges have been filed, and police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident. Authorities are reviewing statements and evidence to determine the events leading up to the fatal shooting.
