Eastern District Reports Two Non-Contact Shooting Incidents in Severna Park and Glen Burnie

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD – The Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Eastern District is investigating two separate non-contact shooting incidents that occurred on August 28, 2025, in Severna Park and Glen Burnie. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in either case, but both incidents caused property damage and raised concerns in the local communities.

Severna Park Incident

At approximately 9:30 a.m., officers responded to the unit block of W. Pasadena Road in Severna Park following a report of vehicle and property damage. Upon arrival, the victim explained that his gold-colored Ford pickup truck, as well as the exterior of his home, had been damaged by fired projectiles overnight.

The rear window and interior of the truck sustained significant damage, in addition to damage to the exterior of the residence. Fortunately, no individuals were injured during the incident. Officers recovered a shell casing at the scene, which is now part of the ongoing investigation.

Glen Burnie Incident

Later that same day, at approximately 11:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of gunfire in the 400 block of Kenilworth Court in Glen Burnie. Witnesses stated they heard two gunshots, causing several teenagers who were outside at the time to run for safety.

Investigation revealed that an unknown vehicle had stopped on Elvaton Towne near Kenilworth Court, where a male occupant fired two rounds before fleeing in the vehicle. One of the projectiles caused damage to a home on Kenilworth Court, and a shell casing was recovered from the roadway on Century Towne Road near the scene.
