CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – August 26, 2025 – Chesterfield County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening at the Festival Park Plaza Apartments, located in the 3800 block of Festival Park Plaza. Authorities responded to the incident at approximately 7:08 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire in the area.
Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of a shooting and a firearm left at the scene. A juvenile male victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been publicly disclosed, and authorities are closely monitoring the victim’s condition.
Police report that three suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. They are described as black males wearing all black clothing. Authorities are actively searching for the individuals and are urging anyone with information regarding their identities or whereabouts to come forward.
