Boston, MA — The Boston Police Department (BPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a shooting incident that occurred in Dorchester on Friday, August 22, 2025, at approximately 5:52 PM. The incident took place in the vicinity of Old Colony Terrace and Savin Hill Avenue and appears to have begun as an attempted carjacking.

Authorities have released descriptions of the two suspects and urge anyone with information to come forward.

  • Suspect One: Wearing a white full-face mask, dark clothing, and white/red footwear. This individual may have an injury to the right forearm or wrist area.
  • Suspect Two: Wearing a black full-face mask with a grey hooded top featuring black lettering across the mid-back.
