Adam Paul Fischer, 37, of Birnamwood, Passes Away

Birnamwood, WI – Adam P. Fischer, 37, of Birnamwood, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Born on September 24, 1987, in Wausau, Adam was the beloved son of Douglas Fischer and Lori (Tabbert) Clauss.

A 2006 graduate of Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School, Adam was known for his warm heart, playful spirit, and love of life. He had a deep passion for video games, enjoyed swimming and camping, and was an avid fan of basketball and football. Friends and family fondly remember the countless hours Adam spent at the casino, sharing laughter and good times with his friends.

Adam’s legacy lives on through his three cherished children, Hailey Bembenek, Derrek Fischer, and Ethan Fischer, who were the center of his world. He is also survived by his father, Douglas (Pamela) Fischer, and his mother, Lori (Rick) Clauss, both of Birnamwood, as well as numerous other family members and friends who were blessed to know him.

Adam was preceded in death by his brother, Derek Fischer, leaving behind memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to honor Adam’s life with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home in Birnamwood. Visitation will be held on the same day from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date to remember Adam in a joyful and heartfelt gathering.

Adam’s presence brought laughter, love, and light to all who knew him. While his passing leaves an irreplaceable void, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his children, family, and friends. Those who knew Adam will remember him as a devoted father, loving son, and loyal friend—a man who lived life fully and touched the lives of many.
