MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – August 27, 2025 – Authorities are responding to a reported active shooter incident at Annunciation Church, located at 509 W 54th Street in Minneapolis.
According to preliminary reports from the Minneapolis Police Department, a man dressed in all black and armed with a rifle was observed at the scene. Officers have confirmed that 20 individuals have been reported as victims, and the situation remains active as law enforcement works to secure the area and neutralize any ongoing threats.
In response to the severity of the incident, EMS has requested a Mass Casualty Response, while fire department personnel are bringing in additional resources to assist with rescue and medical care. First responders are actively working to triage, treat, and transport victims to nearby hospitals.
