Sullivan County, IN – Authorities in Sullivan County have confirmed the identity of the woman killed in a tragic two-vehicle crash on County Road 650 North Sunday morning. The victim has been identified as Tammy Samm, 50, of Jasonville, Indiana.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 10:40 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered one of the drivers, later confirmed to be Samm, trapped inside her vehicle. Despite the efforts of emergency personnel, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle involved, Luke Passmore, 24, of Shelburn, sustained minor injuries in the collision. He was transported to Sullivan County Hospital for a mandatory blood draw in accordance with Indiana state law, though investigators have stated they do not believe drugs or alcohol were contributing factors at this time.
