In Loving Memory of James McKay McIntosh

It is with tremendous sorrow that we, the family of James McKay McIntosh, share the heartbreaking news of his sudden passing on the morning of Monday, August 25th, 2025. James was born on February 14th, 1963, and for 62 years he filled the lives of those around him with warmth, laughter, and love.

James was a man who touched the hearts of everyone he met. His smile was infectious, his humor effortless, and his kindness unshakable. To his family, friends, colleagues, and community, he was more than just a presence—he was a light. He gave of himself generously, never hesitating to lend a hand, share his wisdom, or brighten someone’s day with a well-timed joke or a word of encouragement.

We are devastated by his sudden departure. The hole left behind in our hearts is immeasurable, and the world feels quieter, smaller, without him in it. While we mourn the memories we will never get to create, we are deeply grateful for the countless ones we already share—stories of family gatherings, adventures, quiet moments, and the many times James lifted our spirits just by being himself.

As a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, James was cherished beyond words. His love for his family knew no limits, and his pride in his children and grandchildren was always evident. For those who had the joy of knowing him, James will remain unforgettable—a man defined by compassion, integrity, and a smile that will live in our hearts forever.

We will share details of James’ funeral service at a later time once arrangements have been finalized. For now, we ask for your patience, understanding, and prayers as our family navigates this unimaginable loss.

We also ask, from the depths of our hearts, that you honor James’ memory by sharing a story, photo, or reflection—whether in the comments, in a message, or with his children. These memories are treasures that will help us keep James alive in spirit, ensuring that his legacy of joy, humor, and love continues to shine through those who knew him best.

Thank you, dear friends, for being part of James’ life. He valued each and every connection he made, and we take comfort in knowing how many lives he touched.

With love and gratitude,

Katrina, Rhys, Terri, Vanessa & family
