Kenner Police Investigate Shooting at Williams Blvd. Gas Station

KENNER, La. — Kenner Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday, August 24, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m. at a gas station located in the 3200 block of Williams Boulevard.

Upon responding to the scene, officers discovered a male victim, approximately 30 years old, suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen near a parked vehicle. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital for advanced treatment. Police later confirmed that the victim is currently in stable condition.

Following the shooting, the suspect reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle. Law enforcement officials have stated that there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The Kenner Police Criminal Investigations Division has assumed control of the case, which remains active and ongoing. Investigators are gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing any available surveillance footage to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
